receita vegana de Janeiro

Para os dias de frio a acompanhar um cha quentinho nada melhor que um bolo vegano de banana.
Fica aqui a receita que usamos e é cinco estrelas.

Banana Bread

Ingredients:

3 large black bananas
75g vegetable oil or sunflower oil
100g brown sugar
225g plain four (or use self-raising flour and reduce the baking powder to 2 heaped tsp)
3 heaped tsp baking powder
3 tsp cinnamon or mixed spice - we use cinnamon
50g dried fruit or nuts (optional) - we use either walnuts or almonds

Method:

1. Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. 
Mash 3 large black peeled bananas, then mix well with the vegetable oil and sugar

2. Add flour, baking powder and cinnamon and combine well. Add the dried fruit if using.

3. Bake for 20 minutes in a loaf tin. Check and cover with foil if the cake is browning.

4. Bake for another 20 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.

5. Allow to cool a little before slicing.
