Wales

Fim semana prolongado = alugar carro e conhecer sitios novos. Destino Wales.

Abergavenny

«Nestled between seven hills close to the Welsh/English border, Abergavenny truly is a "Gateway to Wales". A visit to Abergavenny can really feel like a break away from it all - you can almost feel time slowing down as you unwind and take in the fresh mountain air and beautiful scenery.»

Brecon Beacons

«Travelling around the Park, you may find yourself stopped in your tracks by the beauty of the scenery - to the extent where you have to stop and get out of the car to take a picture. This happens to people who live here all the time»

Brecon
Brecon is a long-established market town and community in southern Powys, Mid Wales, with a population of 7,901. Historically in Brecknockshire, it was the historic county's county town; although its role as such was eclipsed with the formation of Powys, it remains an important local centre. Brecon is the third largest town in Powys (after Newtown after Ystradgynlais). It is situated to the north of the Brecon Beacons mountain range, within the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Llangorse Lake

Llangorse Lake is the largest natural lake in South Wales, and is situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, near to the town of Brecon and the village of Llangors.
The lake is famous for its coarse fishing (particularly pike), watersports, the afanc (nicknamed 'Gorsey') and the only example of a crannog in Wales. Llangorse Lake is also one of the most mentioned sites in Welsh folklore. It is a site of international conservation importance.

Rhossili Bay beach

«The first beach to be awarded Britain’s Best Beach by TripAdvisors Travellers’ Choice for the second year running, not to mention the 3rd best beach in Europe and 9th best in the world!»

Recomendamos: Avergavenny Hotel (NP7 5HH)
Nantyffin Cider Mill Inn Restaurant (NP8 1SG)
Visitar Llangorse lake

    Keep it up,

    P & P

A paisagem é mesmo impressionante, por nós tinhamos ficado por lá mais tempo a descansar :)
